SOLAR
RANCHCORP.

Earth's grid can't keep up. The sun doesn't care.

Solar Ranch Corp. builds small solar-powered data nodes and proves every watt on-chain. Off-grid compute, signed at the source, verifiable by anyone with a block explorer.

SOLAR RANCH

Solar Ranch Corp. is building a herd of solar-powered data nodes that never touch the grid. Each one measures its own sunlight, signs the reading, and posts it to Robinhood Chain every ten minutes. Earth's energy grid can't run at the pace of AI. The sun doesn't file connection requests.

01 — MISSION

The grid ends at the fence line.

AI is driving the largest infrastructure buildout in recent history, and the power grid can't keep pace — in major markets, connection lead times for new data centers run five to seven years. Some companies are pointing rockets at the problem and hauling compute to orbit — chief among them Cowboy Space Corp., the orbital data-center venture founded by Robinhood co-founder Baiju Bhatt, whose project inspired this one.

Ours is smaller and verifiable: put compute where the sun already lands, off-grid, and publish the receipts. No renders of satellites. A panel, a battery, a node, a chain.

02 — PROOF OF SUNLIGHT

From the panel to the chain.

Proof of Sunlight is a small telemetry contract on Robinhood Chain. Every ten minutes, each node signs a reading and posts it. No oracle committee, no middleman dashboard — the node speaks for itself, and the explorer is the audit.

STEP / 01

Measure

The INA226 sensor samples solar input, battery state and bytes served, straight from the wire — not from a self-reported config file.

STEP / 02

Sign

The node's onboard key signs the epoch. One key per steer, its address published on this page — spoofing a reading means stealing the physical box.

STEP / 03

Post

The signed epoch lands in the Proof of Sunlight contract on Robinhood Chain. Ten-minute cadence, gas measured in fractions of a cent.

// epoch payload — what LONGHORN-01 will post, every 10 minutes { "node": "LONGHORN-01", "epoch": 1, "solar_w": 142.6, // instantaneous PV input "battery_pct": 83, "served_mb": 1287, // data served this epoch "uptime_s": 600, "sig": "0x…" // signed by the node key }

03 — THE HERD

A data center the size of a saddlebag. Then another.

The Herd is our node fleet. Each steer is a self-powered micro data node running real services — VPN exit, relay, storage — with a power sensor on its intake and a signing key in its pocket. The full bill of materials will be public: anyone should be able to audit the herd, and one day raise their own steer.

04 — TELEMETRY

Simulated preview

Every watt, on the record.

This is what holding $RANCH points at: live numbers from real hardware. Until LONGHORN-01 posts its first epoch, the feed below runs on a simulation of a clear July day — clearly labeled, never blended with real data.

05 — THE TOKEN

$RANCH holds the gate open.

$RANCH is an access token on Robinhood Chain, not a share of anything. Hold the threshold and the Herd's services unlock: the solar VPN exit, holder file drops, and whatever the next steer serves.

No wallet connect. Ever.

You never connect a wallet to this site. Paste your address in the bar at the bottom of the page; we run a read-only balance check against the public Robinhood Chain RPC. Nothing to sign, nothing to approve, no popups, no drainer surface.

If any page ever asks you to connect a wallet claiming to be us, it's fake.

Where the fees ride

Trading fees don't vanish into a wallet. They ride a fixed trail:

  • 01Swap fees accrue on Robinhood Chain
  • 02Fees fill the hardware pool — address public
  • 03Pool buys panels, batteries, boards
  • 04New steer joins the Herd → more holder utility

06 — TRAIL MAP

Short trail, honest markers.

Q3 2026

Website live · $RANCH deploys

Token contract published and verified on Blockscout. LONGHORN-01 bench build starts; BOM published as it's bought.

Q3 2026

Agent-readable ranch · MCP server

Robinhood opened its doors to AI agents; so does the ranch. Any MCP client — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor — gets read-only tools for herd status, telemetry and the $RANCH access check. Agents don't trust the ranch either: they read the chain. Already in the repo.

Q4 2026

Proof of Sunlight · epoch #1

Telemetry contract deploys, LONGHORN-01 goes off-grid and posts its first signed epoch. The simulated dashboard is retired the same day.

Q1 2027

Holder access opens

Solar VPN exit unlocks for addresses above the threshold — read-only address check, no wallet connect.

2027

MAVERICK-02 · raise your own steer

Second node funded from the fee pool. Open BOM + flashing guide so the community can raise steers and join the Herd's registry.

07 — FAQ

Straight answers.

Is the hardware real?

LONGHORN-01 is in build — panel-class hardware, not a render. Until it posts epoch #1 on-chain, every number on this site is labeled simulated, and we won't blend simulated and real data. The bill of materials is published as it's purchased.

Do I need to connect a wallet?

No, and you never will on this site. Access is verified by pasting your address for a read-only balance check against the public RPC. Nothing to sign, no approvals, no transaction prompts. If any page ever asks you to connect a wallet claiming to be us, it's fake.

Why Robinhood Chain?

It's an EVM chain (id 4663) with near-zero gas — cheap enough to post telemetry every ten minutes without thinking about it — and it's where we already build and operate. Explorer: robinhoodchain.blockscout.com.

Is this affiliated with Robinhood, or Cowboy Space?

No. Solar Ranch is an independent project. We openly took inspiration from Cowboy Space Corp. — the orbital data-center company founded by Robinhood co-founder Baiju Bhatt (formerly Aetherflux) — but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Cowboy Space, Robinhood Markets, or the operators of Robinhood Chain in any way. Their compute goes to orbit; ours stays firmly on the ground.

Is $RANCH an investment?

No. $RANCH is an experimental access token: it gates services, nothing more. It can go to zero. Nothing on this site is financial advice, and "Corporation" in the name is branding — the project is currently unincorporated.
